“This crew is awesome! I cannot express to you the nightmare that was my yard. It’s a huge yard. HUGE. There was plant debris everywhere. The grass was two feet high. The trees were growing down to head level and trying to stab people in the eyes. There was morning glory, hideous grasses, horrifying EVERYTHING all over. It was a yard that you looked at and were filled with dread at the hours upon hours of work necessary to make it into a functional place.
So I called Lee’s, and Duy came out to give us an estimate. It was steep. At the time, I was like, shit, I don’t want to spend that much. But I conferred with my roommates, and ultimately we decided to do it. IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY (in fact, I ended up giving them a little more because they had underbid it).
They transformed the yard from a hellish very short jungle to a beautiful, functional space… They did it in one day. I left for work last Wednesday right when they arrived. I took one last look and thought to myself, there is no way. I came home 8 hours later, and my jaw did that cartooney thing where it fell literally all the way from 5 feet in the air where my mouth is to the ground. LITERALLY.
The yard is amazing. I and some friends were able to hang out in it last night. The only ones not happy are the cats, since there were many fun hunting opportunities in that tall, tall grass.”
